  • How do I become a 2022 QOSS Member?
    Membership is simple and quick to join! Simply click 'Membership' in the menu bar, and click Become a Member. All you need to do afterwards is fill in our google form and we sort out the rest for you! For our first year optometry students, your membership is completely FREE!
  • How long is my membership valid for?
    Your membership is valid for the whole of 2022! We recommend signing up to membership early to maximise your membership perks! If you have any queries, feel free to get in contact with us!
  • How do I access my membership online?
    Click on 'Log In' in the menu bar and you'll be taken to the log in portal. Here is where you can also create an online QOSS membership account. Please ensure you have signed up for 2022 QOSS membership before you create an online account.
  • How do I access exclusive membership prices?
    As a member, you are entitled to discounted prices on all applicable merchandise. To access these prices, make sure to register your membership first on our website, then head to MEMBER'S SHOP button. This brings you to an exclusive page with discounted merchandise prices. Happy Shopping!
  • Are my payments and personal details secure?
    Absolutely! Our brand new shop offers our traditional payment via bank transfer to make purchasing our merchandise an easy experience for you! Any personal details submitted are also secured via our online database and only accessed by our QOSS execs. For more information, please refer to our privacy policy.
  • Am I able to exchange or refund my order?
    Unfortunately we do not accept any refunds but if there are any faults or defects present with your product, please don't hesitate to contact us!
  • How long will I have to wait to receive my order?
    All of our merchandise is pre-ordered, thus turnaround time can be up to three (3) months from date of order. We will contact you when your order is ready to be collected at QUT Kelvin Grove!
  • How do I collect my order after purchase?
    There will be waiting period for all merchandise orders as we do not have stock in hand. Please expect around a 3 month turnaround time after purchase of your merch. Once your merch has arrived, our team will need time to sort through all orders which we then hope to be able to organise a period for you to come and collect your merchandise. Location will be at the QUT Health Clinic with exact date and time TBD. Please stay tuned on our social media for updates regarding collection!
  • Do you ship orders?
    Unfortunately, we do not offer shipping for orders. A date and time for collection at QUT Kelvin Grove will be organised, and you will be notified in advance. If you are unable to collect your order, please contact us via Facebook, Instagram or Email and we will find a solution for you!
  • What brand of clothing do we use and can we request different colours?
    Our supplier changes every year as per the requirements of the executive team. This year, we are using AS Colour which are one of the best quality garments around. The hoodie in our 2022 One or Two Collection is the AS Colour Supply Hood - 5101: We are using this as a unisex style so please refer to the size guides for more in depth measurements on each hoodie. There will only be six colours available to order: Black, Bright Royal, Ecru, Forest Green, Gold, and Pink.
  • Can I try on a product before purchasing?
    Yes! Keep an eye out on our social media pages for details of try on sessions. Alternatively, if you would like to try on any of our merchandise, please visit the local AS Colour store conveniently located in West End. Alternatively, Universal Store and City Beach also stock AS Colour products so we do recommend visiting them if you wish to try on the sizing first.
  • Do you re-order any out of stock merchandise?
    As most of our merchandise is pre-ordered, re-ordering is dependent on interest and quantity required. If there is any out of stock merchandise that you would like to order, please fill in the form below and we'll in touch if there is enough interest in another order.
  • What if I need to modify my order?
    All merchandise orders can be modified before the conclusion of our pre-order period. Please follow the process below to amend your existing order. 1. Put through a new transaction with what you're after (be sure to replicate any existing items that you bought but are not changing) 2. Let us know you have an existing order and quote us your previous order number in the 'Instructions box' at checkout so we can track down your previous purchase! 3. Make sure the total cost matches your existing order! No need to transfer again as we will match this order with your previous payment! 4. Send Strabis Moose a message to let us know of the amended order! If you have any queries, please send Strabis Moose a message on Facebook or email!
  • How do I access early bird tickets?
    Early bird access will require purchase of our membership. During the early bird access period, tickets will only be available for purchase to our members with no limit on how many we sell! This to ensure our members are guaranteed a spot at our event during the early bird round!
  • Can I purchase a ticket for my partner during the early access round?
    Absolutely! We understand you may want to bring along your partner who may or may not be a QOSS Member, hence you will have the option during your exclusive early access round to secure a ticket for them. These tickets should be exclusive to people close to you and should not be purchased for friends who are not members as we reserve spots exclusively for our members during this round.
  • How do the OGS/Guide Dogs Australia tickets work?
    Simply purchase the amount of tickets you are after and redeem them on the night! You will have the option to also purchase them on the night but we'd rather you mingle and make the most of our drinks package than scrambling to find someone or even worse not having money on you!
  • How do I get involved with QOSS?
    Our executive team is comprised of 4th and 5th year QUT Optometry students, with the bulk responsibility on our 5th year optometry students, while our 4th year students get first hand experience on how QOSS operates. All our executive team members are chosen via a voting process which occurs in Semester 2! If you're interested, make sure to keep a close eye on your year level facebook pages for when the time comes!
  • How do I stay up to date with QOSS?
    If you are an optometry student, we highly recommend you befriend our trusty old mascot Strabis Moose on Facebook!   • I am still in High School but interested in studying Optometry. Where can I find information about the course?
